Nurses & Midwives Health customers: Why visit a DB Dental Dentist?
At DB Dental we value the contribution nurses and midwives make to the community. We are proud to be a preferred provider to Nurses & Midwives Health.
Will I save money if I visit a DB Dental dentist?
DB Dental is a preferred provider to Nurses & Midwives Health. This means we have an agreement with the health fund. The most important thing to note is that your preventive cover will typically include No Gap checkup and cleans. This means you will not have any out of pocket expenses and it’s a good incentive to attend your regular check-ups and cleans.
Can I visit any DB Dental practice?
Yes, you can. Regardless of which practice you visit your benefits will still be the same. We have around 60 practices across Australia. Locally in Perth, we have 18, and then across Australia, we have further practices operated with the name National Dental Care.
How do I avoid surprise expenses?
We see price as a really valuable consideration. We don’t want our patients to feel pressure and we always want to give them options that fit with their budget. With this in mind, we provide treatment plans in writing. This means that if you attend a checkup and clean, you leave with details and options of any treatment you may need. We also offer Smile Fund. This popular payment method means you can commence treatment now and pay across 6 months, 18 months or as long as 24 months.
Is Invisalign covered by my health insurance?
This is a popular question and the answer is usually a ‘yes a portion is covered’, but we suggest you consult your health insurance provider for details. We can also assist you with getting a quote for Invisalign.

*If in doubt about fees, we always suggest contacting your health insurance provider. The cover can vary depending on your individual plan so your health insurance provider is best placed to give you the most accurate information, but we will do our best to help.
**Check-ups can be partially out of pocket, depending on your level of cover.
