Dentist | BDS (Hons)
I graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK in 2007, and was awarded the British Dental Association medal for outstanding performance in finals examinations. Since then I have worked in both government and private practices, in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry and particularly like to focus upon developing a strong trusting dentist-patient relationship in order to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes. Over the years I have been able to refine my communication skills and calm demeanour so that I am able to make patients feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits, which is particularly important for those who have high levels of dental anxiety and younger patients; children and teenagers. I have been working at DB Dental Rockingham since 2012, and have been grateful to see how regular attendance and thorough preventative and restorative care and oral health education can result in happy patients with healthy mouths.
In 2017 I volunteered on several occasions at St Pat’s Clinic in Fremantle, providing dental care to the homeless. In my spare time I also enjoy reading, Pilates, camping and since moving to WA 6 years ago I have been converted into a big Fremantle Dockers fan!
